I swear that I have thought about blogging just about every other day in the past few months, and just never seem to get to it. Right now little baby is sleeping, but it will still probably take me 3 days to write and publish this post.
I think one of the reasons I have stopped blogging was because 1. I had a baby and he is the center of my universe and everything else has taken a back burner 2. I have not been sure what it is I want to do with this blog. Then I got to thinking that I enjoy blogging as my creative outlet, and a way to document what is going on in my life. Not to forget, I love the people I get to connect with through blogging.
It started out as a running blog, then a fitness blog, a sometimes food blog, then a pregnancy blog, and now it may become a mommy blog, I am not sure. What I am sure of, is that it’s a reflection of me, and changes everyday just like I do. I still enjoy running, and fitness, and cooking, and even though my pregnancy is over, I now have a wonderful baby and a new outlook on life to discuss. I also have a lot of friends and family who don’t live close to us, so this is a great way for me to share with them all the joy Conor is bringing us.
I’ll probably still talk about fitness, and maybe share a recipe or two, and I’ll definitely talk about mom life. What I am not going to do is give it a label and stress whether or not what I am writing fits into a theme, or is a pin-able post. The blogs I love the most and go back to time after time are those that give me a glimpse into their lives. So welcome back to Happy Ramblings, which is just what it is, ramblings of the happy life I live, love, and want to share.
