Holy crap this week is going by fast! So little to do, so much time…if only, sigh…
Is anyone else feeling the holiday stress? I am!
I am a pretty high-strung person anyway and am really good at getting myself all worked up over nothing. The first thing I used to do when I would get this way is reach for the wine and the chocolate, I still do this, but now I add in a little exercise as well.
After a long day at work, I got home and Tim talked me off of the ledge and quickly made me realize that I have nothing to stress about…love him! I was still feeling the need though to get in a workout last night, I need to get some extra endorphin’s going!
My right hip and lower back have been really hurting me, think I’m going to take it easy on the running until I can get it checked out. The chiropractor doesn’t seem to be working as well as I want it to.
I did 20 minutes on the Arc Trainer, and then headed over to do weights. I forgot to bring my planned workout with me, but made this up as I went.
I haven’t done weights in a while, but noticed last night that I am getting much stronger. Thanks to Tina’s Best Body Bootcamp, I highly suggest this program for anyone. In the end I have lost 6 pounds and am much stronger than when I started. I am feeling and seeing muscles in my shoulder and arms that I have never seen before. I can even do a few non-girlie push-ups!
Registration for this next round ends December 31. The program will start on January 7th. Cost is only $25 for eight weeks of workouts!
I’m not sure that I will be participating in this round of BBBC. I know I will be doing a fun new fitness class here in Albuquerque starting in January which I am excited to share with you! More on that later…
