Little Shopper | Wilbur & Rudy’s Farmtable

A few weeks ago we headed out to one of our favorite spots, Wilbur & Rudy’s Farmtable in Milton, Georgia to celebrate the man of the house’s birthday. It’s a short 20 minute scenic drive from our home in Woodstock. I love seeing the cows and horses grazing, old barns, rolling hills, and the occasional farm stand in the summer. Reminds me a little of the rural areas I grew up in. That is, once you take out the million dollar subdivisions.

Wilbur & Rudy'sWilbur & Rudy’s Farmtable brews up a killer cold brew, and has a great selection of baked goodies to choose from. There are adorable patios to hang out on, a few tables inside, as well as a market that sells local and/or organic produce, fresh meats from local farmers, wine, as well as an eclectic mix of dry goods, decor, and jewelry. Seriously, there is something for everyone! They also host a wine tasting and live music on Friday evenings. Which would make for a great relaxing date night (hint hint wink wink).

Last time we were there, they were hosting an event for their anniversary. There was a pig roast, bouncy house, and live music. I stepped in the market to grab a couple of sodas for us to have with our bbq. While we were in there Conor found this little shopping basket and got to shopping.

We emptied and refilled this basket a half-dozen times. While it kept him happy, and I got great pictures out of it, I unfortunately had to drag him away kicking and screaming. #toddlerproblems.

Disclaimer: this is not an advertisement for Wilbur & Rudy’s, I was not compensated for this post, I just really love the place!! If by chance this post makes you want to go there, drop me a line, I’m always up for a coffee date 😉
