WIAW #5-Photo Dump

This morning I got out of my nice warm bed to brave the cold. Never thought I would be one of “those people” who goes out in 20 degree weather to run 4 miles, for fun! I am though, and half of my run was fun. I had a really hard time warming up.

This cold weather running is a first for me, but I don’t want to run on the treadmill, so out in the cold I shall go. Yesterday Angela at Happy Fit Mama posted some great winter running tips which were very helpful. My favorite being the last one, “Just do it!”

I got a new vest from Athleta last night so I was anxious to try it out. It definitely kept me warm, but wasn’t too hot or bulky, plus it has pockets so I didn’t have to wear my arm band for my iPhone.

Now on to WIAW….



I have this obsession with photographing my meals or snacks or just random food I see. I know I am not the only one who is guilty of letting their food get cold while running to grab some sort of camera to capture the sometimes rare, but mostly ordinary culinary creation they are about to indulge in.

Even my mom called me out on it not too long ago….

    that place looks great. I know right where it is too. Corner of Central and…..Gibson?? I’ve seen the building but never been inside. I will have to try next time!!

      It was so yummy!! It was butternut squash ravioli with butter cream spinach and toasted walnuts. We got the ravioli’s and Costco, can’t wait to make the rest of them!
